KETASE led the 2024 Groundnut Tour in Malawi, uniting 300+ participants, including government officials, investors, and industry experts. Over three days, attendees explored factory operations, visited research stations, and engaged in a conference at BICC; each segment showcasing innovations driving Malawi’s groundnut industry forward toward its 2030 export expansion goals.
The Challenge
KETASE faced the challenge of organizing a high-profile Groundnut Tour to support Malawi’s 2030 export goal. We had to coordinate 300+ stakeholders, manage diverse funding partners, and execute factory tours, research visits, and a conference, all within tight timelines and budgets while ensuring seamless logistics and high-quality event standards. Additionally, the event had to balance diverse needs from multiple funding partners like Palladium, Pyxus Agriculture Malawi, and USAID.
Our Approach
KETASE ensured the event’s success through strategic collaboration, efficient logistics, and a strong marketing approach. They managed permits, travel, and event setup while designing 36 booth layouts, branded merchandise, and promotional materials. Their outreach spanned social media, billboards, and a dedicated website, creating buzz and highlighting Malawi’s groundnut industry growth.
